Recent reflections and discussions on the gospel of John have proven to be very insightful. This past week we were all struck by the simple implications of John’s disclaimer in verse 35 of chapter 19:
And he who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe
Sincere conviction overflowing in the form of testimony is the natural outcome of a real encounter with the savior.
