I am not doing much art, but I just caught up with a friend from high school who used to model for me. During this time I was able to make a few sketch paintings and I may have gained a renewed creative fervor.
Being married, I have not figured out what kind of art I will be doing now. Much of what drove my art in the past was the passion and angst that I felt about being reluctantly single, or curiosities about the female anatomy.
Art was also a social device. My art represented who I was then, but now I am different. So: I am not sure what type of art I will do- there are lots of great scenes to paint, but I am not very interested in landscapes… So I don’t know. Sometimes (with art) it is just fun to dive in and discover as you go.
