This is crazy. It was hypothetical before, something that we talked about but I had not seen. Yesterday someone I work with was laid off. This is for real! Yesterday we got an email about this, saying that the state has failed. I don’t like to be associated with failure. I wonder how others are being affected? Other jobs? Other states?
